British Columbia is filled with many breath-taking cities.  In addition to aesthetic appeal, many cities in BC boast history, culture and a strong sense of community.  Although we try to showcase the best cities for seniors in BC, there are just too many to cover.  Chilliwack is one of those hidden gems.  Narcity recently ran a poll which looked at “Canada’s best spots for a high quality of life”.  Believe it or not, Chilliwack took the lead. 

This City is filled with charm and character.  Cobblestone streets, quaint restaurants and chick buildings with a backdrop of farmlands and classic BC mountains sum up this gem.  It’s easy to think about escaping to a slower pace where community and quality are at the epicenter of everyday.  Breathe in fresh air, enjoy local grown produce, be greeted by smiling faces along the streets.  Its worth a visit if you’re a senior looking for the right community to settle in!
