A lot of our cities also have Age Friendly Designation. So if you are looking for a quiet small town location but don’t want to compromise on amenities and livability as a senior, we’ve got you covered.
World Atlas recently released an article on the “8 Safest Towns in British Columbia for Senior Living”. They featured locations across Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, Comox and Delta. These neighbourhoods are relaxed, picturesque and safe. They also highlighted the percentage of the population that are over 65 in these locations, as well as the medical facilities available.
