Social engagement at any age has been shown to promote our well-being and health. Seniors who engage in social activities have been scientifically shown to live longer and lead enriched lives. Across BC there are many social clubs focused on seniors. Learn to play a musical instrument, take up art, play a sport, join a bingo group or a book club. There are many options to choose from. Local community centres are a great place to find social clubs. There are also several non-profit seniors’ social clubs across BC with free membership.
